A team of telecom experts descended upon the Omni Hotel at The Battery for Clearion’s 4th User Conference held in Atlanta, Georgia. One of the key takeaways from the successful conference illustrated the key role that Clearion will play in rolling-out Fiber to transition to 5G. Here are three examples that surfaced during the discussion:
- Fiber Maintenance projects will be very expensive. You need a partner such as Clearion to control your costs.
It came across very clearly during the Clearion User Conference that there are challenges and uniqueness of ongoing fiber maintenance projects. Once projects have been awarded, the consultants and firms need a practical field tool to design and execute the project at that stage. Clearion has supported our clients with finding the right combination of tools to perform maintenance jobs efficiently and effectively while meeting project goals. In the end, their data is captured and managed in the central repository accessible to stakeholders and consultants for ongoing use for future maintenance projects.
- Capital projects will be more straightforward yet the volume will be significant.
Capital projects would be easier to manage if they occurred in a linear fashion. Of course, experience shows us that this will not happen. The odds are that capital projects will all hit at once with accelerated schedules. Clearion can provide the tools to take the desktop to the field to design the new fiber routes, incorporate environmental BMPs, and share the status of work in progress to those with the need to know.
- Clients will need partners that are willing to evolve and be nimble to changing needs.
In listening to our clients, we know this world will continue to evolve at a fast pace. Clearion is well positioned, with our practical agile approach and a philosophy of starting small, supporting adoption, and scaling to meet complex workflows and tight schedules company that can configure our solutions far more quickly than the competition. However, we can also scale quickly and have managed these projects globally.
We at Clearion are excited about the Fiber and 5G Future. We’d love to hear your thoughts on what your needs may be to learn what areas we can help you meet your goals.
